Not Just Theory—Real Clinical Experience
Training from Leading Professionals in Türkiye’s Field
You will learn from some of Türkiye’s first supervisors in Metacognitive Therapy, ISST-accredited specialists in Schema Therapy, and internationally certified therapists in EMDR and Psychodrama. Our instructors are not only academics; they are also practising clinicians who actively work with clients.
Participants learn that psychological difficulties arise not only from the content of thoughts and emotions, but also from how individuals relate to these internal experiences. Concepts such as metacognition, metacognitive beliefs, and the Cognitive Attentional Syndrome (CAS) are explored through brief case examples, with a focus on processes such as worry, rumination, threat monitoring, and avoidance.
The biological, cognitive, emotional, and social dimensions of adolescence are explored through case discussions, with a focus on identity development, increasing independence from the family, and peer relationships.
The structuring of the initial clinical interview conducted with the child and family, understanding the reason for referral, and introductory information on child psychopathology are conveyed. Using the genogram technique, intra-family relationship patterns, intergenerational transmissions, and roles are visually examined.
Accompanied by psychodrama group therapy, participants discover their strengths and areas open for development. Through the Lifeline Exercise, how past experiences shape professional identity is examined, while the Social Atom Exercise explores their relational world and attachment patterns.
Techniques for working with adolescent profiles exhibiting resistance, over-adaptation, and grandiose behaviours are reinforced through role-play practices and video assessments.
The fundamental steps of the psychological assessment process and the components of the mental status examination are discussed. Participants record interview videos; these recordings are evaluated with structured feedback in the next session.
The personality traits, motivations, and coping mechanisms of characters are evaluated from a psychological perspective, and presentations are made within the group.
Assessment exam measuring the theoretical and practical learning outcomes of the program.

The program consists of live weekday sessions, video assignments, and practical tasks. To successfully complete the program, participants must complete and submit all required assignments and tasks in full and achieve a minimum score of 60 out of 100 on the assessment exam administered at the end of the program.
Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a Novo Psikoloji Internship Certificate.
Our internship and supervision programs aim to support students studying in the field of psychology and mental health professionals in integrating their theoretical knowledge with practice, gaining a clinical perspective in compliance with ethical principles, and fostering their professional development.
Our programs aim to strengthen participants’ professional competencies through case-based learning, practical studies, group supervisions, clinical observation, feedback processes, and training conducted under the guidance of expert instructors.
Schema Therapy is an integrative therapeutic model developed by Jeffrey Young that combines cognitive behavioural therapy, attachment theory, psychodynamic approaches, and experiential techniques.
Schema Therapy for children and adolescents aims to understand and transform the deep-seated beliefs individuals develop about themselves, other people, and the world. These beliefs are often shaped by relational experiences during early childhood.
When children’s core emotional needs are not adequately met, maladaptive schemas may develop. Over time, these schemas can contribute to difficulties with emotional regulation, behavioural problems, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties.
The aim of Schema Therapy is not only to reduce symptoms, but also to help children develop a healthy sense of self and learn to meet their core emotional needs in healthy ways.
A Novo Psikoloji Internship Certificate is awarded upon completion of the program.
